Hermes scarf Special Edition Rue de Sèvres 200 copies Newithbox 70cm

Beautiful Hermes Paris silk scarf carré'Ex-Libris Les Parisiennes' by Hugo Grygkar & Kiraz. Limited edition colourway to celebrate the re-opening of the Hermes Store on 17 Rue de Sèvres, Paris. Very rare & beloved as included in carres d'art Limited editions (pic 17). The Ex-Libris design is superimposed on Les Parisiennes to create a new composition. Ex-Libris plunges us into the heart of the 19th century. The Hermès Ex-Libris emblem forms the central medallion of this composition. This scarf, created by Hugo Grygkar in 1946, is surrounded by two hansom cabs, a stagecoach, and a carriage. The Les Parisiennes scarf was created by Kiraz in 2012. It features cartoon cameos of the illustrator's Parisian heroines. Seen gazing into a store window on Faubourg Saint Honore, sitting outside a café on the Left Bank or chatting while laden down with shopping bags, they are a flurry of activity. His tongue-in-cheek caricatures capture the elegance and humor of the Parisian woman. A very beautiful design in a stunning red/white & mint green colourway.

Fabulous very wearable colour way rarely comes to market and great saturation of colour on the reverse. All in all a great scarf and a wonderful addition to your Hermes scarf/Hermès Carré collection!
