Vintage Guitar Selmer Saxon Les Paul 70s New Strings - Rare - c/w Gig Bag. Vintage Les Paul style Saxon electric guitar. These Selmer Saxon's came to prominence towards the end of the 1960's and were a popular 6 string "Les Paul" style to have in the early 70's. The black lacquered body and neck with mother of pearl inlays was synonymous with its era.
For a guitar that's now 50 years old its in pretty good condition. It is a used guitar but not been used in the last 15 odd years. Just fitted a new set of strings, as you can see. Please study the photos, the photos are an important part of the description, however I will help you out and bring to your attention a few marks and chips to the body, these are mostly unseen as they are on the rear as to be expected with a "Played" used guitar. Grab a bargain, very sort after and will only go up in price. As with all vintage instruments its a great investment. With padded gig bag (as can be seen in the last photo) included with the guitar which will add protection and therefore allow me to send it with a courier after adding extra packaging.
